Flytting mellom Valdres og granneområda

Etter i lang tid å ha leita etter Valdrisar som vart registrert gifte utanfor regionen, har eg gått gjennom inn- og utflytte i kyrkjebøkene frå Land, Nes/Flå, Gol, Hemsedal, Norderhov og Ådal samt Lærdal og Årdal og notert inn- og utflytte til eller frå Valdres. De vil finna opplysningane i datalistene "Innflytta til Valdres" og "Utflytta frå Valdres".

Ein kjem snøgt på tanken om at "dobbelt bokføring" i dette tilfellet sjeldan vil gi korrekt tverrsum. (Debet og Kredit = 0). Kryssreferer ein mot innføringane i kyrkjebøkene for Valdres vil ein i mange tilfelle ikkje finna dei same personane oppført. -- Listene for innflytte frå Valdres til Hedmark har eg prøvd å setje inn ein "kontrarubrikk" der eghar lekkje til dei same personane opplista i kyrkjebøkene i Valdres. Samandrag finn de her.

Tabellane for Biri, Vardal, Toten og Hadeland har med ei ekstra kolonne for giftarmål funne i kyrkjebøkene i områda dei flytta til. Eg har ikkje (enno) laga kryssreferanser mellom "giftarmålslistene" og flyttingstabellane. Heller ikkje er "kontra" -kolonna kryssjekka med kyrkjebøkene for Valdres. Migration between Valdres and adjoining areas

After putting an end to the search for brides and grooms from Valdres, I used the time between Christmas and Easter to go trough the 'moving in- and out' lists in the Churchbooks from Land, Nes/flå, Gol & Hemsedal, Norderhoug/Aadal and Land, noting people going to or coming from Valdres. You will find the tables as "Migrated from Valdres" og "Migrated to Valdres". Closer expleination of the results found further down on this page.

Looking at the the lists, the thought of "double-entry bookkeeping" comes into mind. I'm afraid a lot of the lines will not give cero as sum. In many cases you will not find these people mentioned in the Churchbooks in Valdres. - In the "Migration into Hedmark" table I put in a row called "kontra" containing the link to the Valdres migration-lists. Discussion.

The list from Biri, Vardal, Toten and Hadeland has a coloumn for marriages in the region the person migrated into, but it is not yet crossreferenced to my list of marriages containing Valdres-people married in other regions. The "kontra"-coloumn is not completed either. The summary and discussion of the results are found here. The tables are: "Migrated to Vestoppland" and "Received from Vestoppland"

I alt får Valdres eit innfflyttar-overskot frå granneområda. Nedanfor er ei oversikt over kjønns-fordelinga til dei som er på flyttefot

As you can see from the tables above and the map to the left, Valdres delivers more people to the Land area than it receives. From the other areas the picture is different. The wind blows 'Valdrisar' Eastwards, and sweeps 'Hallings' into Valdres. - Below you find a table illustrating the gender of the migrators.
